What is Endotherapy?
Endotherapy, also known as trunk injection, is a personalized treatment approach for woody plants. It involves delivering phytosanitary and nutritional products directly into the vascular system, eliminating environmental drift and ensuring precise dosage.
History of Endotherapy
Ibn Al Awam (13th century) was an “agronomist engineer” from Seville, who wrote the treatise Kitab al-Filaha (The Book of Agriculture). Disappeared for 6 centuries, in the 18th century it was reprinted and is a reference in world agriculture. Inside, he talks about how, through a slit at the base of the trunk, it was possible to improve the future and color the flowers.
It can be inferred from this text that it was a fairly widespread practice among agronomists of the time.
Advantages of Endotherapy
Resource Conservation
Our techniques are designed to achieve significant savings in water, fuel, energy, and other non-renewable resources.
Zero Drift Contamination
Our treatments have a “zero” drift impact on the environment, including soil, water, and atmosphere. They are completely clean, without harming the environment or auxiliary fauna.
Precision
We ensure the direct application of the necessary product quantity to achieve the desired treatment objective for each tree, minimizing waste.
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
We employ selective plant protection methods, allowing precise and drift-free application only to affected plants. This approach avoids generalized and non-specific treatments, promoting sustainable and targeted pest management.
Efficiency
Our techniques have been extensively tested and proven effective, achieving success rates of 90-100%. Even diseases considered “incurable” with traditional methods can be treated effectively.
